This is the first novel ever to capture the heart pounding, life and death drama of helicopter air ambulance rescue. The story revolves around the misadventures of ICU nurse Angie Jackson, paramedic Russ Andrews and pilot Dale Morgan as they fly to the scene of motor vehicle accidents, assist with mountain rescues, learn how to luge and take part in the 1988 Calgary Olympic Winter Games torch relay.
STARS celebrated its 25th anniversery this year:) It was a tremenous milestone for our program. Here's a link you can go to read about it. They did a little write up on my career as a flight nurse with STARS. It also includes a video, of which I happen to be in.
