I am hoping to be a medevac pilot in the army, so I thought I would read this book to get some kind of a feel for the civilian side of air ambulance. I found this book to be excellent. I really enjoyed the descriptions of the medical conditions and the way Pat paints such a clear picture of the medevac life. I would give the book 5 stars but some of the sappiness got to me at times. All in all, one of the best books I've read in a while.

Want to take a look at the insides of a Flight Care program and the lives of the medics/pilots/nurses? This is the book, a near to true life account that is wilder than any rollercoaster ride you have been on. Great book, a must for any one interested in EMS. Trauma Junkies absolute must read!

Finally, someone's written a story about us medics. This book really hit home. I laughed. I cried. I lent it to my partner. He loved it too. I hope Pat's working on a sequel!
