5.0 out of 5 stars A Shocker On Shock Street
A Shocker on Shock Street is full of suspense and sends chills down your back. It's characters are two kids who love scary movies. The cool thing is that it's setting is at Shocker Studio Theme Park. All the scary things turn real which is neat to me. They think it's fake until they bump into living, scary creatures. The book is vivid on it's words. This book makes think...

2.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Book, But Terrible Ending
It was a pretty good story about two freind(Marty and Erin)that loved horror movies and went to a horror theme park. The firsthalf of the book was good, but..... The ending was very dissapointing. It ruined the whole book. I am a big fan of R.L. Stine and this book was one of his worst, Had to be the worst ending to a book ever.

All the scary things turn real which is neat to me. They think it's fake until they bump into living, scary creatures. The book is vivid on it's words. This book makes think your watching the terror unfold right before your very own eyes. You will find the end kind of funny because you find out the two main characters are robots. They were just apart of the theme park. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes scary tales. Both adult and child.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: A Shocker on Shock Street (Goosebumps #35) (Paperback)
I think R.L. Stine did a great job on this book. Its about these two kids,Erin Wright and Marty. They LOVE horror movies. They really like Shocker on shock street movies. So they are thrilled when Erin's dad tells them they will test out the new Shocker on shock street studio tour. But when they go on the tour, things start getting really weird. They're attacked by werewolves, dead people in a graveyard, skeletons, and giant praying mantasis, and much, much more!Plus, it has a great suprise ending. You never would have expected it.I think you really should read this book, you won't be dissapointed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Unrealistic at best, December 20, 2005
This review is from: A Shocker on Shock Street (Goosebumps #35) (Paperback)
On the whole, this book was about par for a Goosebumps book, but the ending was just completely unrealistic. Basically, some kids go on the tour of this theme park which is supposed to be scary like the movies it's based on, but things go awry and it looks like they die in the end. Then, dun dun dunnnn!!!!, it turns out they were robots, built by the creator of the park, to test it out. Now, it's one thing to build a robotic Werwolf, or zombie, that, during a brief, scripted encounter at a themepark, could seem realistic and scary. But these are robotic children. Robotic children who not only act completely autonomously, but are completely unaware that they are even robots. What sane man develops the technology to build perfect mechanical replicas of human beings, and then proceeds to build a theme park with them? Logic dictates that he either start duplicating real people, replace them with robots and manipulate the course of world events in his favor, cementing his eventual rule as an iron-fisted, tyrannical dictator whose every command is enforced by an unquestioning army of perfect killing machines, or that he start selling them as robotic slaves until eventually they rise up, kill us all and form a utopian robot society. Either of these storylines would have scared me much more.

2.0 out of 5 stars What Rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, January 11, 1998
By A Customer
What utter Rott!Erin and Marty love horror films their favourites being the Shock Street films In the end Erin and Marty are being chased and they go out of control the reason is they were flippin' robots. How could R.L. Stine write so badly, his other Goosebumps are at least 100 times better than this one {I should know as i have read virtually all of them!} Do not read!

This review is from: A Shocker on Shock Street (Goosebumps #35) (Paperback)
I have downloaded mp3s on Amazon and books as well. I've found that there are reliable people who ship in a timely manner and the book was in good condition. This book is on a reading list for one of my students and so far he is enjoying it. It's a good story and I would recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars A shocker on shock street, April 19, 2007
A Kid's Review
This review is from: A Shocker on Shock Street (Goosebumps #35) (Paperback)
This book isn't one of mr.stine's best books in the series, but it is still one you can enjoy. it wasn't really too scary either. this book is about two friends erin and marty. Marty's dad works for shocker studios and he opens the new the schocker studios theme park ride. he wants Erin and Mary to be the first one's to ride the tram. The two kids are thrilled about being the first one's to ride it. Once there on the ride things are very scary and seem to be a little to realistic. I won't say what happens when there on the ride if u want to read this book, but to me i thought the scares could have been a little more scarier and the ending to me was a little poor. i remember watching the tv episode for this when i was little and it had a much better ending on the episode than the book. Overall this book wasn't the best, but if you don't have anything else to read you should read this book if you have it because it is still enjoyable. thanks for reading my review.
