This is a good start for Silkk. This CD is pretty rare now but you can probably find it online. My favorite tracks are:
-Murder (Good way to start an album. Tight song)
-I Ain't Takin No Shorts
-I Represent (Tight song w/ clean azz beat)
-The Shocker
-Free Loaders
-1 Morning (Tight song, pretty short though)
-It's On
-Ain't Nothin'
-Mr.
-It's Time To Ride
-If My 9 Could Talk
-My Car
-Why My Homie
This is, I think, Silkk's best album. It was a good start for him. This album is highly recommended by me for anybody in to rap music.

Silkk is ok now, but his first album was da bomb! The best songs are Murder, I Ain't Takin No Shorts, MR., Free Loaders, If My 9 Could Talk, My Car, and Why My Homie. If you like Silkk the way he used to be, then pick this album up today!

YESSS, YESS, YES... THIS IS BY FAR THE HIS BEST SOLO ALBUM. NUMBER 14 DOES IT.

Silkk's first CD is by far the best. I own the first two, and they are both tight, but his third one, Made Man, sucks really bad. He went way to mainstream and he teamed up with too many East Coast Rappers, when he should have stuck with those Down South and then of course the Bay Area here in Killa Kali. This album was when he was rapping in the bay area, so for any bay area fans, check this one out. West Side!!!

Silkk the shocker's cd charge it to the game was the best so i got this one and it was just as good. This is a cd for shocker fans.

i think silkk is the best rapper in no limit and this is a very good cd. It is one of favorite cds

THE SHOCKER IS THE BEST ALBUM EVER PRODUCED BY NO-LIMIT. IT FEATURES ITS GREATEST RAPPER AND HARD CORE LYRICS THAT ARE WORTH LISTENING TO FOREVER. THIS ALBUM COULD NEVER GET OLD AND I LISTEN TO IT ALL THE TIME. SILKK MADE ME SAY "AAAAAAHHHHH!" CAUSE HE IS THE GREATEST!

I think this is no doubt about it this is Silkk's best cd. I have listened to each song a number of times and they are all great! Nice job Silkk and keep on comin'!!!

Man where do I start... This CD is off the heezy fo sheezy. As many of might not know this album "The Shocker" is Silkk The Shocker's first album and is also his best CD to date. The instrumentals are great. If u buy only 1 Silkk CD make sure that its this album. Too bad Silkk didn't release any singles from "The Shocker" because when this album was released No Limit hadn't blown up yet and they were still underground. The best tracks on here are "I aint takin no shorts", "I represent", "Aint Nothin", "If my 9 could talk", "The Shocker", just to name a few. For all the No Limit and Silkk the Shocker haters especially the haters who think that Silkk can't rap Silkk busted some sick flows on this album. This album is hard to find in stores. Its hard to find even on Kazza or other File Sharing systems! So u r better off buying this album online from Amazon.com or other internet vendors.

I used to be a No Limit ENTHUSIEST, but now it's 2002, and rap has a whole different sound.What i think makes this album particullary Silkks best, is the fact that it's old and more original than all his new stuff, and not so repetative. This Cd has every drop off what a rap vet would like to hear, inluding murder, i aint takin no shorts,freeloaders, aint nothin, and my car. The beats are outstanding, and silkk lyrics are at there peak unlike what they are today.Good to listen to when your chillin with some hoes, EVEN BETTER TO LISTEN TO WHILE YOUR BLAZEDOR IN CAR. I gave 4 stars just because 2 or 3 songs i could care less about. cop this one though, yull be glad you did.
