3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting.
I have seen Dr Henry Lee on his TV show and know how brilliant he is. I found the story on Hurricane Katrina very interesting as it contained a lot of quite shocking information I hadn't read about before. However, I found with the subsequent stories, while interesting, the writing style got a little tedious to read and I found myself skipping pages at a time when it...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great True Crime, March 18, 2010

I love to read True Crime and non-fiction. Drs Lee and Labriola write of these real life experience with such detail and knowledge. Once I start reading any of Dr. Lee's cases, I simply can't put it down. In this book, some of these cases are pending trial or sentencing. It is fascinating to learn about the case details and be brought up to date as these cases hit the News again. It is like real-life CSI.

These two doctors are tops in their fields, and it shows. Forensic expert Dr Lee brings the details and writing expert Dr. Labriola brings them to life. His lively writing style makes these stories interesting as well as fascinating. It makes learning about these "shocking" cases enjoyable. This book is good reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars The real CSI, March 18, 2010
A fresh batch of fascinating cases from Dr. Henry Lee's files, the real CSI. These cases are quite different from each other. Celebrity, Cold but not forgotten, Twist of luck, Exonerating and Relevant in today's world. Thought provoking cases that makes you wonder why the perpetrator would think that they could get away with it now.

I found the story on Hurricane Katrina very interesting as it contained a lot of quite shocking information I hadn't read about before. However, I found with the subsequent stories, while interesting, the writing style got a little tedious to read and I found myself skipping pages at a time when it got bogged down in legalese. Not sure if I'd recommend.
