4.0 out of 5 stars Shoe Storage
I bought the shoe storage cabinet to keep in my closet because I had a floor of un-organized shoes. This has worked wonders for my organization skills, and I enjoy it very much.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, February 6, 2005
I bought one of the shoe cubbys and liked the idea of not seeing the shoes since it is being used in a foyer area. Idea is great the way it is executed is lousy. Anyway the instructions are pretty weak, I am a woodworker so I could figure everything out but easy to assemble is a stretch with the instructions supplied, some things need to be figured out such as the rotating mechanism.

Anyway all together and it opens fine without shoes, but put a single pair in it and forget it, the weight causes it to bind on the front. Load it up and it takes a screwdriver to pry it open. I did take the front piece of and re-trim it, but because it is so flimsy it still binds, and now has a bigger gap.

The downside that someone else mentioned is forget boots, mid-height shoes and even some tennis shoes, since I have 11 size feet, some won't fit in the small spaces. Now I am looking for another solution, this one will end up in the trash.

1.0 out of 5 stars Defective product from Stacks and Stacks, will not take back, September 10, 2005
This shoe cabinet took me 3 hours to assemble. The moment 2 pairs of women's shoes were placed in the cubby the door fell off. Very badly constructed. Do not buy. The retailer would not stand behind the product. (They did send a replacement which fell apart in the exact same place.) Do not buy from the retailer Stacks and Stacks. They do not care if you are a satisfied customer or not.

1.0 out of 5 stars DON'T BUY!, January 19, 2005
When this came I was very excited about the product. It took hours and many others help to put this little thing together! The instructions were almost, literally, backwards. When we finally did get it together their were gaps and it would not open smoothly. Also, most people have boots or large shoes, this only fits shoes like tennis shoes! I wanted to return it but, now its all put together.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dont waste your time or money, September 10, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Shoe Cabinet
Been looking for a shoe cabinet. Found this online. Picture shown is 2 of them stacked. Fooled me to think it was 1 item. Box came crushed and with water damage. Packing slip is charging me more for item then items worth plus s&h..? Unpacked item, pieces are not marked, instuctions are poor. Sides are cheap plastic that the wood sort of just sits in. Put together anyway. No surprise. Corners are cracked and chipped door wont even close because its warped. Thought I would put it together to see if I should get an undamaged cabinet reshipped. NO THANKS. Shelves are all a different size. WONT fit a thing but sandles and flats. No tennis shoes. No mens shoes. Also there is no back on cabinet so shoes will get ditry and dusty. Defeats the purpose of a drawer. What a waste of money. Target does not refund S&H either. OUCH

1.0 out of 5 stars horrible, September 21, 2004
This review is from: Shoe Cabinet
Dont be fooled by the photo of this item, the photo is two cabinets together, you recieve only 1. The bootom piece did not fit, the door would not close, no back piece, so your shoes will get dirty.

I had to rteurn this.

1.0 out of 5 stars GARBAGE, August 3, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Shoe Cabinet
I bought this product, it fell apart. After fixing it multiple times, I finally exchanged it. The second one fell apart too. The problem is that the door hinge does not stay screwed in on one side (same problem both times) and then the door falls inside the cabinet. The shoe-weight inside make this cabinet a total pain to fix. Also, if you have shoes bigger than ballet slippers, the middle shelf is useless. Save your money and pass this one up.

1.0 out of 5 stars very misleading, December 7, 2002

This product was a shear disappointment. I think that says it all. The quality was awful (particle board) and it didn't work well enough to hold size 7 womens shoes.
