I ordered a size 4 skirt and size 2 jacket, both called "Best Uniform Skirt", and "Best Uniform Blazer". The size 2 jacket fits, and the four is too small. According to the interior labels, these products are built by "Best Manufacturing Group, LLC" for "Allura Apparel Collection."

I think the skirt is a size smaller than normal. So if you wear a 4 at say, Banana Republic, order a 6, here.

I'm 5'3 1/2", and the skirt is below the knee a bit. There are two side pockets and a traditional cut. It's built well, with 65% wool and 45% polyester, fully lined, dry clean. Obviously, uniforms are designed to last.

I was skeptical about the trying "uniform" items with my commercial separates, but the lure of the prices and quality materials drew me into a purchase -- and I am quite pleased. It's a bit like walking out of a thrift store with a real treasure... and very cheap for the quality.

The material leaves much to be desired and the waist is 2-4 sizes smaller than stated. If you are going for this look it is classic that is why I cannot say I hate it. It is nicely sewn, but again I cannot get past the material nor the size. In a skirt/dress I can wear 1/2 or 3/4 and I ordered a 6 because of the previous review. It was tight with no give whatsoever. I just suggest caution when ordering your size. If you are a 4 order an 8 or 10.
