I bought this helmet as a replacement for my old Bell motorcycle helmet. This helmet far exceeds the Bell and my expectations. Wind noise is cut greatly and the fit of the helmet is much better. The production quality is great. I went with flat black and am really glad I made that choice.

I purchased the helmet due to the Snell 2010 rating and excellent graphics. I have the conqueror in red. My other helmets are an AGV S4 and an AGV K3. The RF 1100 good points includes piece of mind with the Snell 2010 rating, safety first. The fit is very, very good with the liner coming down fairly low on the forehead as well which feel fine.I rode in 100 degree weather and the ventillation system was very good with the liner wicking up all sweat. The visor assembly is fantastic with a high quality feel and positive detents, it sounds and feels like a very high quality piece.The seal is excellent as well. The ear pockets are also excellent, allows a great fit for safety and still relieves a fair amount of pressure around the ears. The ear pockets also allow you to hear a bit more and better as well without adding excess noise. The strap system is a bit wider than normal so it is easy to get your strap secure and tightened down with a clip to keep the extra bits from whipping around at speed.I wear glasses. The helmet is hands down the best design I have ever experienced for glasses. The helmet has two built in channels so you can easily slide your glasses over your ears when the helmet is on, like magic and no twisting your glass frames. I love that. The CW-1 mirror visor is huge but rather expensive but completely worth the money. It works extremely well even in bright desert sun and makes for no distortion. It is perfect. The RF 1100 draw backs are minor. The visor should be adjusted by a dealer when you get your new helmet. The dealer has a factory shield template that allows for exact positioning of the base plate to completely eliminate any wind noise through the shield, impressive. The liner is great but absolutly loves to hook up with velcro. So, if you stick your gloves in your helmet when stopped, like I tend to do, you will find that glove velcro sticks like mad and can pull the liner off the EPS shield making you snap the liner it back in place. A pain, but you can work around this by carefuly placing you glove in the helmet. All in all an excellent helmet.

I did my research and read many reviews on this helmet. The video demo on uTube really sold me on this helmet. I have never owned a full face and have worried about visibility issues with full faced helmets. No problems with visibility here. Well designed, vents work great. I rode home today in 101 F heat and only slightly sweated. Noise is greatly reduced, I can actually here the rumble of V-twin 1100 with factpry exhaust now at highway speed versus wind noise. The shield is easy to work and I rate this helmet 5 stars without a doubt. I have a 15 mile stretch of interstate (70 mph limit) on my way to and from work and this thing makes the ride so much more enjoyable. The price is what I expected. Getting ready to order a smoke shield for the sunny days.

Love this helmet, it's very quiet and the shield mechanism is great. I upgraded from an old Arai Quantum e that was falling apart..... The RF1100 has an even wider FOV too. I also, love the large sliders for opening the vents, you get great feedback from the detents and are easy to move with gloves on.

This Helmet is impressive. Quiet, light, and extremely comfortable. I like to listen to music while riding. Ear buds fit nicely while wearing helmet. No ear pressure or pain whatsoever. Helmet noise is comfortable so I can hear music at lower levels and still hear ambient road noise and vehicles in my vicinity. Music is clear and undistorted for the most part without annoying buzz or wind-flap. I have used this helmet without ear plugs and was pleasantly surprised at the comfortable noise levels. Took it on a road trip to Vegas. 90+mph without a windshield no problem. Aerodynamics are very good on this baby..in fact I'd venture to say, better than any other helmet I have tried at this price range. I love the integrated foil design and the shape is so nice. Had many compliments already on my sweet helmet. Vegas was 106 degrees and I had no issues with heat. Plenty of ventilation. I only had mild sweating when I was sitting still. 4 rear vents not only look cool but are highly effective. My head was dry most of the time. Padding fits like a champ. I love this helmet. Best helmet I have ever worn. Buy it. You won't regret your choice.

I purchased a pair of these helmets, one for me and one for my wife, from the vendor She Rides, the helmets are fantastic, comfortable, virtually fog free, and well designed to reduce buffeting. The vendor shipped lightning fast and had fantastic customer service. Outstanding!

This was a huge upgrade from my old helmet. The RF-1100 is very quiet, has excellent venting, fits very well, and has an awesome wide field of view. Better still, though, is how it feels when you ride at high speed. The wind does not buffet it and it tracks very stable. I never noticed this until I had the new helmet and the buffeting was gone. Wow.

My yellow Shoei came with an imperfect paint job, there are some darker patches on top. Otherwise, build quality is great: seams are sturdy and parts have shown no wear with a year's worth of use. The liner, while soft, isn't very comfortable, it feels like it's suffocating my skin.

The visor is decent, but feels small compared with my Nexx and AGV helmets. Removal mechanism is easy in spit of how complicated the science behind it is. Airflow is good and the helmet rarely fogs up.

The RF-1100 S was too loose for me and the XS was slightly too snug, so I chose XS, which colours my review of comfort. I can't wear this helmet for too long without getting a headache. It's still my helmet of choice for long trips, however, due to the quality of the build; it just seems safer than my other helmets. It feels sturdier and the liner feels more protective.

For comparison, a Shoei XS fits a little snugly, an HJC S fits a little loosely and AGV/Nexx S fit perfectly.
