The colors are bright and follow ROYGBIV requirements. They really make me think of Manga characters, despite the apparrent lack of skin tones, but I suppose a multicultural faber-astell is sold separately... I saw Craig Thompson use these to draw me on my book of "Blankets" as he signed it with a date that looked slightly alphabetical despite it's intent to be numeral. Eclectic seal of approval!
