More About the Author

Timothy Frost lives in Norfolk, England and Grenada, West Indies. He began writing as a student, but a career as an advertising copywriter intervened, and it was many years before he accomplished his lifelong ambition of writing a full-length thriller.

Tim is a keen yachtsman, and sailed the Atlantic from the UK to St Lucia with his wife. His experiences on and around the ocean in the Caribbean provided much of the inspiration and background for his thrillers.

Tim's first novel of contemporary nautical skullduggery, "Final Passage", was released in 2009, followed by "The Abigail Affair" in 2010 and "The Shoot" in 2011.

The Caribbean setting drew me to this book, but it was the taut, suspense-filled storyline about a murder suspect looking for answers, whilst at the same time trying to keep one step ahead of those trying to convict her, that kept me turning the pages. I liked all the characters, but especially Kate, the strong yet vulnerable heroine with her obsessive attention to detail. Somehow her flaws made her more real. The Shoot was a fast-paced, satisfying read. I look forward to more of the same from Timothy Frost.

The Shoot is a 'gas light' novel that keeps you guessing until the very end. The Caribbean setting, a hurricane, murder and multiple deceptions will keep you interested until the very end.

I read "The Abigail Factor" and found it to be a fun read. I have just finished reading "The Shoot" and have found it to be just as much fun as "The Abigail Factor". Murder, deception and a great "heroine" who is human!
