This book gets all the stars because it delivers a believable and exciting story that Western lovers will likely enjoy. In typical Ben Bridges style, the author presents a tale of good vs evil, this time it goes across the border into Mexico to root out political corruption and injustice to ordinary citizens. O'Brian figures things out, spots the lies and gets down to action. I really liked the descriptions of the desert and the characters. The story plot was easy to follow and as usual, the author delivers the tale in just the right amount of pages. 5 stars and a recommendation from me!

The "star" gets beaten up, getting slugged many times
resulting in broken ribs etc and wth no time to recover he is riding
off with bruised or broken ribs to start another such donnybrook. Not very
believable.

I liked it all! Especially the part bringing out a little bit about a the history of Mexico. I did notice Matamoros was misspelled as it was minus the "s". I would definitely recommend this book to other lovers of westerns.

He was hired with the story of a son gone bad and pushed into the confusing world of across the border manipulation . Moving from one fight quickly to the next as he sorts the current Mexican politics to find out who is the good guy. A Good tale.
