These Workbench Legs are heavy-duty, but there is a spot weld missing at the top of the feet. I called Shop Fox Customer Service, and they said that's the way they come from Taiwan. Also, the adjustment holes on the legs only line up with the feet pointed sideways. This is okay if you are bolting the leg to the floor, but if you are using stem casters for mobility, the projections get in the way.

Great legs for a decent price. They need to be secured pretty firmly, so build that into your design.

Added a maple butcher block to make a nice strong bench. An easy and quick way to build a bench and it's easy enough to adjust the height of the bench.

We have been remodeling our garage...I know that sounds odd but over the years the cabinets, shelving and workbenches have become weak and in need of repair/attention. After shelling out considerable money for three large work benches with drawers, we were still in need of space and storage. These seemed like an affordable alternative so thought we would give it a try - so glad we did!

Right out of the box, these are a very high quality set of legs. We ordered four in total and the quality of construction is far superior to many of the consumer oriented workbench type sets available. Most are of a lesser grade metal or only contain two sides rather than a full four sided leg. Welds are complete throughout. There are ample holes up/down...the bottom ones allow roughly 6 inches of adjustments for the legs while upper holes provide simple allocation for a stringer or other desired additions. The top also contains holes for benchtop installation or other needs. Brace at bottom allows super simple installation of a shelf if desired.

Makes easy work of creating your own custom sized work space without concern over overload (assuming your top provides sufficient durability/strength). Couldn't be more pleased!

I purchased two of these legs to construct a Router Tool Bench. The fit and finish is top notch. They are so sturdy you could put a engine block on them without worry. As one of the other reviewers noted the base plate on the legs is welded sideways which is only problematic if you want to install plate castors. Which is what I wanted to do. This by no means infers that the bench legs are in any way defective - they are just not designed for plate swivel castors. So I just took a grinder cutting wheel, removed the existing base plate, and welded on a 3/16" steel plate that fit the castor plate. Perfect! And I also welded a 2"x2"x 4' angle iron stringer for support. Added a butcher block top and this bench looks awesome, portable, and so strong. Oh yeah one of the reviewers noted that a weld was missing - not true - the welds are super strong - just try and cutting them off. It is not necessary to weld every seam. For example I welded the inside seams of the "L' on the angle iron, but not the outside. No weld is missing - it is just not needed. These legs are very good.
