Clamps are not good,

I build guitars and already had several of this style clamp. The ones I own work great. These clamps are not good. The adjustments are sloppy and do not keep the jaws in line and the cams are not made correctly - they tighten for about half of there throw and then start reducing instead of increasing the presure. The clamps from luthier supply companies are more expensive, but worth the money - these are a waste of money.

Purchased 4 of this size for guitar building plus a set of Stew-Mac smaller versions. You can certainly see the quality difference when comparing the two. Although these work just fine, I don't like how sloppy the fit is for the moveable piece. It requires extra effort just to align the jaws.

I build guitar and do woodworking. These claps are a great deal and work very well. They release guickly and the cams are good.

These are the worst cam clamps I have ever bought...they are being returned. They are sloppy, the jaws misalign, they stick, the cams do not work through 180 degrees (the go loose again after 90), and some of them hardly work. Pay the couple of extra bucks and buy the Klemsia/Woodcraft.

I ordered the 4 1/2" & 7 1/2"cam Clamps from RIGHT-[...]I received the 4 1/2" with in one week. It's been almost two months and I have not recived the 7 1/2" clamps. I received a email stating they were back ordered and would be shipped in 4 to 6 weeks from order date. I have made numerous attempts to speak to someone via email or phone to check the status of my order and get no reponse. The price is great but what does it matter if you don't get the product or at least an explanation.
