This book changed my life. My husband and I were having the same fights over and over again. It was all about the dreaded topic of money. He thought I didn't try hard enough and I thought he spent money foolishly. Then we got Shop, Save and Share. It was a quick read and really challenged us to make some drastic changes. We realized we truly could cut corners in ways that weren't too painful. It truly wasn't that difficult to shave hundreds of dollars off our monthly food budget and simplify other areas of our lives. We have found we have lots of (free) groceries to pass along to other people who need them. By reaching out to others, we've taken the focus off of ourselves and our (former) problems. My husband really appreciates the teamwork philosophy. Our marriage is better than it has been in a long time and we don't argue about money all the time. Thank you, Ellie, for making a difference in our lives by writing this book. I hope you sell a million copies and I hope that those children you support in India can one day meet you--you are one incredible lady!

I've purchased hard copy editions of other money savings books and after buying Shop, Save and Share, I feel I paid too much for those other books! Ellie's book is a trade paperback that is so full of great information that I felt I was getting a bargain in buying the book. I ordered copies for my friends birthdays and for family members because I think that anyone will enjoy Ellie's humor as well as her practical advice on how to save money. This isn't one of those books you'll want to pass around to friends--let them get their own reference copy. I have to save my copy to refer back to after I've gone to the store. I cut my grocery bill in half the first time I went to the store! I've lowered monthly expenses around the house by just twisting a few knobs and modifying some appliance settings. I've even been challenged to share some of our (free) groceries with our local womens shelter. I just want to know when Ellie is going to write another book!

As a mom to 2 teenage boys (and a husband who counts in the teenager category most of the time)my grocery bill is astronomical! Ellie's book is jam packed with practical, easy to implement ideas that saved me money the first week after reading it. Last night I shopped the Walgreen circular (something I would have never done before taking Ellie's advice) for toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, softner, toothpaste, peanuts, and my favorite lipstick that was buy one/get one free - yahoo! I saved $37 on $80's worth of items. I wish I had read her book 10 years ago. My grocery bill is down and my ability to share with others is up. It doesn't get much better than that. We are a family who has always had hard times financially. My husband barely makes enough to keep us fed and some weeks we panicked because we didn't have enough money for food. Then I heard this seminar and read the book called "Shop, Save and Share." Ellie showed my, step by step, how to cut my food bill and save money in other areas, too. Within the first two months, I cut my food bill in half and have a ton of extra food! Now I can afford health insurance for the first time in many years. I have a medical condition that we couldn't afford to get medication and tests to treat. We didn't feel that morally we could go on government assistance. But now, we have health insurance and can pay our own way thanks to Ellie Kay. She is really a God send. Last week, we had no money for food (again) but we didn't panic. because of this book, I had extra groceries in my stock. God used this book to improve our lives, get me the medical help I need and maybe even save my life. Thank you, Ellie Kaye.

Shop, Save, and Share is a must read for all parents, and anyone else that is frugal minded. It's a great reminder that in addition to saving, we should also share our savings with those less fortunate which results in more and more success with this strategy of shopping. This book is humerous and also extremely inspirational. By using the strategies in this book, I saved a total of over $100.00 in the first two weeks. I now have a grocery budget of $250.00 a month for my family of 8, and we still have items to share. If you are truly committed to changing your spending habits then this is a must read for you. I read the entire book in one day!

This book is absolutely delightful. After reading it, I doubled my weekly savings and I know I can do better next week. All of the tips are useful and amazingly funny. Ellie welcomes you into her life and lets you know that saving and sharing can be fun and fruitful.

I read this book in a mere three days! As I read about this detailed plan to save money in every category, I got mroe and more excited about the possibilities. Then I got to the "Share" section of the book and I actually wept when I read about the way this woman shares with people who have genuine needs. I've caught the vision of assisting others by providing them with what Ellie calls "Creative Giving." This book has helped me see that it is better to give than to receive. I hope this author gets the national media attention she deserves--it would make a difference in the world we live in.

Upon completion of this fabulous resource, I had laughed out loud and even shed a tear. Aside from beig a pure delight to read, Ellie Kay's great advice has resulted in incredible savings in our grocery budget--last month I spent $68 on $166 worth of groceries. Kudos to Ellie. I've been blessed!

My husband does the grocery shopping and he was reluctant to try Ellie's methods. But after reading the book he felt it was worth a try. After only one month of following Ellie's advice, we've saved an average of 50% on our grocery bill. For once we have the ability to help someone else. Last week he basically bought enough groceries (including cleaning supplies) for two families. We gave half the groceries to a friend whose husband is out of work. We spent $61 that day and have more than enough on our pantry shelves. Not only will this book help you save money, it will save you enough money so that you can share with someone else. Right now there are a lot of people who could use your sharing.

My mother-in-law ordered this book and gave it to me for my birthday. My first thought was, "Oh great, another thing for me to do,that I'm not doing now." I decided to read the first chapter to tell mom that "I read part of it, thank you." Well, three hours later, I was still reading it! Ellie's humor is incredible and these tips are so well-researched. I saved over $100 at the grocery store last week and only spent $45! I also am getting free groceries to give to my local food pantry. I don't know if Ellie's book is a best-seller yet, but it deserves to be! My mother-in=law sure picked a winner!
