I would recommend this item for others. It works well on my Golden Retriever. The teeth are a rubber/plastic material and flexible to prevent irritation of the dogs skin. As a tip, I place the shop vac in another room, then run the door through doorway and close the door as much as possible. This reduces the noise of the shop vac from upsetting the pooch.I would buy this item again.

I have a Huskey mix service dog and this tool helps cut down on the hair he looses. I feel better now when we enter a business that little hair is left behind. My dog loves the way the soft fingers massage his skin as I vacuum his body.
