A little over the top but you just have to love her dedication to fashion. Becky Bloomwood is my new hero but absolutely not my financial advisor. I couldn't put these books down and shared them with all of my friends and family.

One of my more intellectual friends took a look at the books and with her nose in the air said, "I don't read THOSE kind of books". After much pleading and a bribe or two, she gave them a chance and now is now a HUGE fan, completely in love with the first 3 Shopaholic books. Need a laugh? Read these books!

All three of these books by Sophie Kinsella are just wonderful! I am not a big reader, but this series is a must read by all women. If you are or are not a "shopaholic" yourself, you will quickly identify with Becky and all her shopping adventures. An easy read...and very easy to fall in love.

These books are excellent. They may start off slow but you will soon not have to put the book down. Any easy fun read that you won't want to miss out on. I can't wait for the next book!

I thought this set was great. Very breezy reading. You really get involved and care about the main character.

What an airhead! The stream of consciousness is a laugh-a-minute as Rebecca succumbs to sale after sale while endeavoring to dig her way out of debt.
You see the disasters coming, but the hapless heroine plows right ahead making things worse. She struggles to maintain her poise and facade at work where she is totally inept and in social situations where she manages time after time to put her foot in it.
Amazingly this comedy of errors finally works out right. Lots of fun. I'm glad Kinsella didn't stop with the first book, as the 2nd and 3rd are just as good.

This is the series that hooked me on Sophie Kinsella's work. I read all of them in a marathon session that made my husband feel like a widower. They are light, funny, entertaining, and like a certain type of potato chip I bet you can't stop at just one.

Definitely Chick Lit, but delightfully fluffy, sweet and charming. A great tonic for the stresses and strains of real life. Warning: you may need to join a 12 step program to break free of Sophie's addicting work.

Being a shopper like Rebecca Bloomwood I understand everything she goes through, except I don't have a million credit cards like she does! I loved all of these books and own all of Sophie Kinsella's books. If you want a good laugh then please read these. You want to laugh and cry and shake her sometimes, but you're gonna root for her the entire way! Great books and great movie too!

This series of three books was a very good read. Perfect for reading on a plane or just relaxing in a bubble bath. Very well written. If you liked "Bridget Jones' Diary", you will love this author. It helps to be married to an Englishman, as there are many references and slang terms common to Great Britan. I enjoyed the books immensely and would like to see another in the series - I have also read "Can You Keep a Secret?" by Sophie Kinsella and would give that book a rating of 5 as well!!!

The First time I've heard about Confessions of a Shopaholic was when E! News featured the trailer of the movie. So I found the trailer very entertaining and it got me curious. I searched about it and found out that it was based on a series of novel. I looooovvvvveee to read light and funny books so I decided to buy this GIFT SET because it's a total bargain ($28 for three books) and I became an instant fan. Now, I have all the novels of Sophie Kinsella and I'm trying to collect Madeleine Wickham novels also. So the set has three books in it:

Confessions of a Shopaholic- this is where it all began. The very book that introduced the one-woman shopping phenom known as Becky Bloomwood.

Shopaholic Takes Manhattan- Becky goes to New York. Can New York handle her?

Shopaholic Ties The Knot- The dream wedding that every Shopaholic fan have been waiting for (back then of course). But is the wedding really a dream or a horrible nightmare?

Great novels, great price. You're in a win/win situation!
