Since all the reviews here are jokes and it seems unlikely that anyone actually read it I'll write the honest review. It's stupid. But it's a special stupid, I'm not a Jersey Shore fan, but contextually, this book is on point. If you enjoy the show you will enjoy this book, even though it is in no way a novelization of the show its characters and scenarios play out similar to the show. It's stupid, maybe it's trash, but if you thought that the Jersey Shore was a funny novelty in the same way that Here Comes Honey Boo-boo was a funny novelty, then you will likely find A Shore Thing to be a funny novelty as well. And once you are done with it (if you choose to finish it, which really isn't necessary as the novelty wears off within 60 pages) then it makes a decent gag gift. Although, I'm afraid that since the show has long been canceled the memory of this book and the context behind it will fade away, leaving a truly awful and uninspired novel.

It was ok but it seemed like it need a lot of work... The characters needed to be a lot more developed. The story was boring an seemed to just go on an on an it wasn't very unique at all!!! An this is coming from someone's who's a huge jersey shore/snookie fan but I just couldn't get into this story. Stick to what your good at snookie.....

Fun read. A little disingenuous to name the author as Snooki, since it's clear that she didn't write one line of it. The credit goes to her "collaborator," Valerie Frankel. Regardless, anyone who enjoys the Snooki character on her TV shows will enjoy this read.

I don't know how anyone can read this. I tried, I really did. It was just so poorly written that I couldn't finish it.

Hate this book, hate this person, pisses me off that it was on my daughters wish list and that my wife insisted that I wasted my hard earned money and hand it over to benefit and perpetuate this losers fame and fortune

got this book for my 21yr old daughter. she's a fan of Nicole "snooki" polizzi. she read it in 3 days. its definitely a book that puts you in a partying fun loving kind of mood, her words not mine. its a good read if your into parties, fun times at the beach and a lil drama.
