The Shores Of Lillisand,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Shores of Lillisand (Audio CD)
My family went to see this artist (and the Night Heron Consort) live in Randolph Vermont which was their album release concert. It is with out a doubt the most beautiful music we have ever heard. A combination of strings, Irish whistles, flutes, gemshorn, and a list of other instruments to numerous to mention. Hauntingly beautiful melodies that you can play over and over. We have played it every day since the concert, at least a thousand times.

Delightful! Instrumental music with a gorgeous Celtic lilt. If I listen to it while I write, words just flow from my fingers.
If you can, seek out the same group's "Crossing the Waters" CD (Boston Skyline Records, 1995). Amazon doesn't seem to have it. :-(

I enjoyed crossing the waters so much, I couldnt wait to hear this recording. It's good but not as good as his last. I think he could of benifited from a little more focus. This effort is all over the board musicly. Nice but it detracts from the effort. Its cracked my collection but not my faverites.
