The bike rides covered are indeed short...once you get to them. However, with the exception of about five trails, everything else in the book involves a 200-300 mile drive from Denver. I only have one-day weekends and don't really want to spend the entire day driving to and from a trail, just for an hour of biking. I was looking for a book that covered closer territory. Maybe this will come in handy if I ever get to retire and can take more than one day off in a row.
