This review is from: A Short Introduction to Hinduism (Paperback)
Like his longer ``A survey of Hinduism'', this new book is written with a lot of insight. Would be an ideal first introduction to this very complex religion.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Very Thorough Reading, August 30, 2000
This review is from: A Short Introduction to Hinduism (Paperback)
I really enjoyed reading this book. It provides a first exposure to this very complex and ancient religion/philosophy. After reading this book you can take it to the next level and explore further Hinduism or,if you choose not, you can rest assured that the basic knowledge you received from this book will allow you to entertain a conversation about Hinduism and sound knowledgeable.
