I use these as a review when teaching. They are great for building phonological awareness as you move into phonics and match the sounds to the letters. The games are great tool to use if you need quick sub plans as well. Although you may have to go over the pictures with the kids a few times since they may not know that it is a Thimble (from the blends and digraphs game) it can be looked at as a great vocabulary builder as well. I have this and the blends and digraphs - great for school and home.
