Cake is one of my favorite bands, and this is my most favorite song from them. I really love the convenience of being able to download it directly from amazon.

Not only is this song fun on its own, it shows up at least twice in shows. The first is in the movie Waitress, where it helps to lighten the mood as we watch someone in a tough situation.
The second is the TV show Chuck. Although we hear none of the lyrics, it is definitely the same bass line, and knowing what the lyrics are just makes it fit the show all that much better. (If you haven't seen the show, Chuck is a computer geek who is a top secret, protected by a beautiful woman agent.) Play the song after the show while you practice your knife throwing, computer hacking, and other international intrigue techniques. |
