Uncompromising and consistent libertarian philosophy, July 20, 2008
This review is from: Short answers to the tough questions
_Short Answers to Tough Questions_ is a short book with large print, spiral bound and intended for Libertarian candidates to carry with them during debates and interviews, etc. Still, it's worth its weight in gold as the most concise, uncompromising, and consistent expression of hardcore libertarian philosophy in print.
According to the great Dr. Ruwart, Libertarians can be either anarchists (believing in no government) or minarchists (believing in government monopoly over national defense, police, and the court system). Regardless, the initiation of force is prohibited, and Dr. Ruwart answers specific questions as to how anarcho-minarchist philosophy applies to real-life situations.
I read this book while laid over at an airport in Milwaukee, and it energized my spirits even in the aftermath of the LP's hostile takeover by non-anarcho-minarchist forces. Mary Ruwart 2012!
