I think this is one of the better Law-of-Attraction types of books that I've read. I haven't been using the techniques long enough to pass final judgment on them one way or another, so my assessment of the book is based primarily on the presentation and consistency of its reasoning.

The first part of the book consists of a very simple--well, simplistic, to be honest--presentation of quantum theory in a manner designed to show how what we think creates our own environment, invites the circumstances we experience. It is quite an inductive leap to go from admitting that a researcher's observatin of an atomic particle affects that particle's behavior to asserting that what we think about manifests in our world, but that is, after all, the cornerstone principle of the law-of-attraction industry. I have to give the authors credit for doing more than just cheering us on. (A better, and more thorough presentation of this science--presented for a lay audience--can be found in Lynne McTaggart's "The Field.") I would have liked to see this gone into in a little more depth, but that, I think, is largely a matter of taste. I suspect most readers won't require more than they get here.

The bulk of the book is devoted to "making miracles." It gets pretty New-Agey at times, but I think the authors strike an acceptable balance between this and practical instruction. Even if there aren't metaphysical underpinnings at work creating "miracles," the advice they offer is of sound practical value.

They differ from, say Joe Vitale in his "Attractor Factor" by admonishing us *not* to articulate goals/desires with a time limit.

The first 60 pages explains quantum physics and how it supports New Thought philosophy better than anything else I have read through the years. Just the first 60 pages is well worth the price of the book. If you are interested in learning more about the Science of Mind philosophy or are looking for a book to distribute to your interested friends, this is a good one! If you are ready yourself to read the basics in a fresh new setting, this book will do the trick! Excellent!

Although there is nothing revolutionary in promoting "positive thinking," this book takes that concept into new territory. By examining quantum physics, in a context easily understood by the average reader, the authors propose that we are all connected, and our actions - and thoughts - create ripple effects throughout the universe.

This book was recommended to me be a friend who knows I have great interest in how our thinking affects not only how we interact with others, but also our physical and spiritual health. I couldn't put this book down. I spent a Saturday curled up with the text and when I finished, I had made notes in the margins and felt a true sense of excitement at what I had just digested.

I am working on integrating the principles in this book into my life. Less than one month after reading "Shortcut to a Miracle," I have had several events occur which are a direct result of reading this book.

Our deepest beliefs-even those locked in our subconscious mind-affect what grows and manifests in our lives. This is a powerful book, yet easy to read and put into action. If you are interested in reaching your highest potential and creating truly miraculous moments in your own life, you will find "Shortcut to a Miracle" a brilliant revelation.

This is a book I've waited for and never expected to see--the one that demonstrates that the laws of quantum physics are the same as those that underlie what we call miracles! It explains that material things respond to the mind, and that this is the principle underlying the natural process we think of as miracles. Click, click--the pieces came together for me. And the book is a fascinating read with some truly astounding scientific and spiritual material, but in very accessible, user-friendly writing. It gives me the determination and the instructions I need to get to work on my own life! Thank you, Michael C. Rann and Elizabeth Rann Arrott.

This is absolutely the best book on manifesting I have ever read! I have read literally hundreds of books on this subject and this book makes everthing about attracting miracles easy to comprehend. Through this book and many others (such as "Wealth Beyond Reason" and "The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent") I have learned how to attract anything I want in life. And it works! It makes it seem so simple, and it is! If you want to start manifesting miracles in your life today, buy this book! You won't regret it.

Shortcut To A Miracle
A hugely important book. It succeeds in two areas where most others have failed: an easily readable introduction to how science plays a role in this philosophical revolution, and the closest thing I have seen to practical ways of actually changing your thoughts and your life in the direction you want, and to bring about miracles.

Mankind is currently in the middle of possibly the biggest spiritual renaissance in history.
There are literally hundreds of books written in the past decade about how spirituality and science are now meeting in the middle, to a new awareness of how we are all of us taking part in the creation and the control of the universe, of our own bodies and even way beyond that.

It is a tricky subject. Most of us get strong emotional reactions to such statements. We know damn well that we are not god or anything like him. We know that we are just small particles blown about by the winds and the wims of the big, cold universe. We know we are victims.

Responsibility is a frightening thing. And "with big powers come big responsibility", as one of the good ole superheroes likes to point out. What if we are not really small helpless victims who deserve all the sympathy we can get when we whine about the government and how the rest of the big cruel world does us in? What if in reality we are really running the show from a secret little place hidden away in our mind, and if we really wanted, we could take over that power, and potentially change not only our own lives completely, but also have big effects on the world beyond? Yes, very scary indeed.

Yet also exhilarating...
