Larry Lyall, a poet, musician, administrator, and occasional professor of literature and the humanities has lived in Oklahoma, Manhattan, Texas, Mississippi, Mexico, Florida, and North Carolina. He has won numerous teaching awards, fathered numerous children, authored four books of poetry (Shakespeare Redux, The Shorter Decameron, Right Justified(?), and Fiesta Brava), and is presently completing a libretto for Toole's Confederacy of Dunces, commissioned by New Orleans Opera.
