This was an excellent introduction to Australian history, it gave me a good idea of the basic history of Australia and who the people of Australia are. I found it to be balanced and concise.

This is an extremely scholarly rendering of the events that shaped Australia the way it is today. Mr. G. Blainey is the most learned professor to write this book and the details incorporated in the writings kept me thinking that I would love to remember all the details. I wish the boook had no ending.
