Great Set All Around, October 20, 2010

I am no musicologist, but I know I love this set. The preludes performed by Ashkenazy are 10/10 on Classics Today. The music is so beautiful, yet structured and coordinated (like you'd expect of a set in each major and minor key). The quality of the chamber pieces is top, top-flight.
If you like or love the SQ, this is the next artistic stepping stone.
