I own the very first album Billy Ray Cyrus ever made, his self-titled debut which includes the songs Achy Breaky Heart and Could've Been Me. I also own his album "It Won't Be The Last." When I purchased this album, "Shot Full Of Love", I was mainly getting it because I love the song Busy Man. I also like I Give My Heart To You. I really must say, however, that I was really impressed with this album as a whole. I liked every song on the album, except for one called Rock This Planet. This album proves that Billy Ray Cyrus has come a long way since his Achy Breaky Heart days. I just hope that people will give him another chance. He definitely deserves it.

Well, although I wouldn't call this Billy Ray's "comeback" album, it certainly shows some evolution in his sound. True country fans, look somewhere else, but BRC fans, this is the place to turn. With tons of novelty BRC songs like the opening track, you'll find that his song choice hasn't changed much. However, he puts his heart and soul into singing these songs, and his voice has matured greatly from the days of "Achy Breaky." The sound he opts for is more of a "Storm in the Heartland," and it works. With obvious style flair like on the not-even-close-to-country rocking title track and the swinging, shades-of-Setzer "Rock This Planet," it is indeed a fun album. But comeback? No. His true comeback is Southern Rain. I recommend both for the true BRC fan.

This is one of my favorite collections of his songs- Hows my world treating you, you gotta love it, the lyrics alone are such that we all can relate to having been there and wish we could have put it so elequently. Billys has the ability to vary his vocals according to the theme of every song he sings- and then change the tempo and still make it sound completely different yet equally appealing. The man speaks and it sounds like music to my ears.

In spite of what the reviewer from amazon.com sais, I think that this is a great album. It is sortof the change-over from two time periods of Billy Ray's music. It's got alot of great songs on it, and is one of the most complex albums I have ever heard.

I THINK BILLY HAS REALLY DID IT AGAIN THIS IS THE BEST EVE

I have never been a fan of country music but this CD was exceptional. I really enjoy every song on it. I especially like Busy Man, even though it relates to a man, I can certainly relate to all the words as a woman.

Finally,Radio has to like this one!If radio has any creditabilty left..........they have to give this one a chance......Radio has beaten up this good singer for to long!Let the fans be the judge......and this c d will go far!

SHOT FULL OF LOVE........the Title of Billy Ray Cyrus' new album.....is indeed just that!! SHOT FULL of love. Billy Ray never ceases to amaze his true blue fans with his outstanding vocal range and the MUSIC. He tells us WE are his music.....and when you hear tunes such as Busy Man, Give My Heart to You, How's My World Treating You, Time For Letting Go, The American Dream, etc.....we can all relate to the music!! This time he chose to record with studio musicians, and songs written by others in the Industry instead of his own tunes.....butt he also chose to record ONLY music that we all have lived or will live in our lifetime. Great job, Busy Man Billy Ray Cyrus. Hope the next album is right around the corner!!!!!!!

This album is one of the best I have heard in a long time. Down home songs that come right from the heart. How's My World Treating You, Missing You, Busy Man, so true, we all have to stop and look at where we are and what our priorites are. My personal favorite, American Dream, we can never stop living that dream.

When he came out with Achy Breaky most everyone liked it. Then everyone bailed out on him not giving him a another shot. Even though he has came out with several good songs since then(most of the songs people liked until they found out who sang it) this album has seem to give him the second chance he deserves. This album plus his new look has BRC heading his way into country music to stay. This Album gets an A++ to me. :-þ
