Mr Smith has written a very good book, covering many aspects of shotgun game shooting, guns, dogs, travel etc and combined it with a sense of humour, to produce a great all-round guide to the sport. Robert Churchill said years ago that anyone who averages 50% on game birds is a good shot. I wish I was as good as Steve Smith though he would never admit to being more than passable !! An excellent book.
