My first day with Slim Shots, I took one before breakfast around 7:30 am and another 10:30 am. I had planned on eating a late lunch that day because I noticed that I was not hungry at all. I anticipated that around 1:00 pm I'd be starving but honestly, I did not feel hungry until around 5:00 pm that evening. I have only been taking this product for a few days now but I can attest that so far, the claims seem to be accurate, at least in my case.

I have been taking slimshots for about a year now and have steadily and slowly lost weight. They honestly do help curb your appetite, you may need a second one later in the day which makes them a little more pricey but getting them at a discount ordering through amazon helps.

I'm really petite girl. 5'0 but my weight needed to drop really quick. In less than 2 months with slimshots I've dropped 28 pounds. To me, the taste is pretty serious. GROSS. I've read other reviews and customers have said they liked it. I almost gag everytime I open one up! They literally smell like play dough. Anyways, the disgusting taste is definately worth it. Oh.. and the best thing is I didn't even have to exercise to drop all the weight. I'm now going to buy my second order. I loveeee these things.

I am jaded. The biggest skeptic was wooed over by this product. Here's how I did it. I take one before breakfast and another before lunch. It makes me forget that I am hungry and I eat to live not live to eat. I feel fuller, so I eat because I know I should not because of hunger pangs. This allows me to control my portions. It's not going to stop you from shoveling food down your throat, but it will allow you more force behind any semblance of will power you have. You won't feel hungry, so you won't engorge yourself with food. It doesn't close up your throat or seal of your stomach. It just diminishes hunger signals. If you have a little extra stored fat, then trust me you won't die from not eating until you burst. You will however gain control. It is an appetite controller. Not a strait jacket.

I cannot complain. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". The cravings were curved but only at a minimum. I would find myself hungry maybe 1 - 2 hrs later. The taste is ok; much like an acquired taste. Like beer, you get used to it. Sometimes slim shots worked for me and sometimes it didnt. I found myself using less and less of it. Not because I experienced a "full" effect, because consuming it didnt make a difference; still ended up hungry.

I've purchased both the vanilla & chocolate Slim Shots and they work. I always knew my problem was not exercise or what I ate but how much I ate. I just ate too much food so needed something to help me control my appetite. Slim Shots do the trick. When I need to lose weight, I need to take 3 a day; one at each meal. When I want to maintain, it's 2 a day. From March 2009 to September 2010 I lost and kept off 25 lbs. I was in the exact middle of my BMI weight range; I looked and felt fabulous! In October 2010 I stopped taking Slim Shots and by May 2011, I had gained back 15 lbs. So now I'm back to taking 3 a day and losing weight again; about a half to 1 lb a week.

I don't have a problem with the taste because I always take them with food. I do want to mention that when I saw the unbelievable price of $5 a box, I ordered a bunch. And like the other poster, mine all expire August 2011. So now I'm in the process of contacting the company to see if I can still use them after the expiration date. So buyer beware; if the price is way low, they may be near or past their expiration date.

Never mind it tastes like cement, but if I take it in the morning, I won't be like "ARRHH I"M SO HUNGRY, I WILL EAT A WHOLE ELEPHANT" by 11am. Totally helps me to eat less food(=less junk, less caloris, more nutrition, more money savings)

This stuff was nasty. I had tried the chocolate first and then decided to try the vanilla. The chocolate was MUCH easier to get down. The vanilla had lots of lumps in it no matter how much I shook it up and the taste was horrible. I ended up throwing the last few away because I just couldn't do it. It seemed to help my appetite a little but not worth the taste.

The vanilla slim shots were the most foul flavor I have ever tasted. They tasted like rancid playdoh.I threw them out , they are that bad!!!!

I took a package of 21 slimshots, one with breakfast, one with lunch.
It did not make the slightest difference.
The active ingredients are 1 gram (1/28 oz.) of palm oil and 1 gram of oat oil in each shot.
You could easily replicate this by eating a spoonful of rolled oats and a little margarine (which normally contains palm oil).
But aren't many of us eating this already?
So eating a little more of what we are already eating certainly is not going to get us slimmer. We are eating too much fat/oil already, they are saying if we eat just a little more, we will lose weight.
Only your wallet will slim down.
My only explanation for positive reviews is the placebo effect.
