2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed with the mixes on this single November 12, 2013
Format:Vinyl|Verified Purchase
Depeche Mode does a great job of scattering their remixes across formats: for any single, if you want to get all the mixes, you have to buy the 7", 12" and CD versions. This single is no different: all of the mixes on this vinyl single are unique to the vinyl release and you can't get on other official releases (they may exist on promotional CDs somewhere). Note: there's no 7" release of this single, just the CD and 12" vinyl.

Typically, you can find some real gems on the vinyl-only singles. Some of the mixes of "Heaven" and "Soothe My Soul" (both from DM's 2013 album "Delta Machine") are quite decent!

Sadly, this is an exception. Of the six mixes, only one is worth listening to (The Uberzone Remix). The rest are throwaway and completely uninteresting. Is it worth $15 for 1 mix? You decide, but I'd suggest avoiding this release unless you're an avid collector. Casual fans should probably just get the "Maps Remix" from the CD single (available as a single-track MP3 download) - it's the best of all the "Should Be Higher" remixes and the most economical.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad Remixes December 10, 2013
Format:Vinyl|Verified Purchase
How disappointing. This 12" vinyl single features some of the worst Depeche Mode remixes, ever. Stick with the CD singles.

auto rip rip-off?
I've been wondering the same thing. I bought the two CD singles and the vinyl single, but have only gotten auto-rip MP3 for the CDs. I see that the auto-rip Promotion Details says, "There are sometimes multiple versions of albums that vary from one another. We'll provide you an MP3 version... Read more
