This review is from: Should Have Been Her Child: Men of the West (Silhouette Special Edition) (Mass Market Paperback)
Dr. Victoria Ketchum is a very good Dr. at the clinic in town.
Learning that the law has been out to the ranch has up set her. What could they be doing there? She returns home to find the under sheriff Jess Hastings there with some other men. He tells her that they have found a body on the ranch. Victoria is unaware of this development. As the weeks go by Jess's little daughter become sick. He takes her to Victoria for care and treatment. After she is well he takes Victoria to the spot where one of the workmen found the body. Someone shoots at them and wounds Jess. Who can this be and what do they want? Office Red Wing finds the gun and runs the serial numbers what a surprise they are in for when he gives them the name of the owner. Here the book ends and I am ready to get the next book called His Drfender. I enjoyed this book. |
