5.0 out of 5 stars Apparant problems, not always what they seem..., September 17, 2005
This review is from: What You Should Know About Inerrancy (Current Christian issues) (Paperback)
One of the great things that Ryrie points out in this book is that the Bible does have apparant "problems" within the text. By that he means that a person looking for errors to discredit the Bible could probably find many ways to attack the bible. Biblical inerrancy is a matter of faith. When you trust that the bible is free of errors, you understand that what might seem to be a contradiction can easily be explained with a little extra study. The Bible is error-free, and all of the 'apparant errors' claimed are based on people's desires to discredit God and His Word. Ryrie makes that case very well, especially for the lay reader.
I recommend this book to the Christian looking to strengthen his/her faith.
