About the Author

Miriam Chaikin spent many years as an editor of books for young readers for major publishing houses. She is the author of some twenty-five books of Jewish interest-fiction, nonfiction and bible retellings. Her humorous verse has appeared in anthologies. Her chap book of adult poetry is, No Moon...but Fireflies.
