This review is from: Shoulder Arthroscopy, 1e (Hardcover)
I am a clinical physical therapist in the National Physical Therapy Center of NMY - IKA in the city of Thessaloniki and also a clinical researcher for over 20 years speciallized in Shoulder Rehabilitation and specialist in the field of the Stiff Shoulder (specially in Idiopathic Adhesive Capsulitis, Diabetes stiff shoulder, Post traumatic stiffness). This book is a very usefull tool not only for every Orthopaedic surgeon, but also for all physical therapists who are interesting in the area of Shoulder Rehabilitation. I found very usefull informations in my interesting field of Frozen Shoulder about arthroscopic capsular release and also specific details about manipulations under anesthesia (MUA) for the managment of Frozen Shoulder that helped me a lot to undestand better the nature of this condition. The book provides very extensive in depth descriptions for all up - to date arthroscopic procedures with full color high quallity arthroscopic photos. Also the CD -ROM is very usefull. The specific details for every arthroscopic procedure help much for understanding better the post-arthroscopy exercise prescription. The book has 3 main sections:The Basics, Glenohumeral Joint Surgery and Subacromial Joint Surgery with 17 different well organized chapters about all arthroscopic procedures and also provides guidelines for Post - arthroscopy rehabilitation managment. Professor Gary. M. Gartsman is a great teacher.
