I needed a dress for a black tie charity event in November and thought this dress looked gorgeous for the price. I was not sure what size to order. I prefer sizing in numbers vs. S, M, L, etc. I emailed the Paciflex and asked them if the dress was a true misses cut or junior cut. They indicated it was a junior miss and it was best to go by the size chart/measurements. I certainly have a misses figure and wear a size 16 or XL. According to the measurements for this dress - it appeared I would need a size 3X. I thought that sounded large but figured if it was a Junior cut, so that may not be so far off. It arrived today and was HUGE. GINORMOUS is a better word. It is so big that it falls right off of me. I was so disappointed. The dress is very pretty. I'd love to order a smaller size and try it again,but shipping from Paciflex is $10 - plus the postage to return it. I'm afraid to order again because I'm clueless as to what size to order. Be careful if you order this dress and you go by the size/measurement chart.

i just love this dress, and because it was so economically priced, i got both the purple and the fushia. Both colors are lovely.

This amazing dress features a lovely woven-look down the opposite side of the gown's one strap. It works to make such an elegant look, so sophisticated and sexy, while being a bit conservative too.

Because my measurements aren't too terrible common, i got this in the 2X size. Once i'd determined the fit was good enough to keep, i had my favorite taylor make the necessary alterations. Now it's very form-fitting, and it's wonderful for "making an entrance" into any room.

If you're a girl who has to "buy larger" and then have your dresses altered to fit, then this really might work for you. i strongly recommend this dress.

I ordered this dress for my senior prom. Im 5'5 120lbs 34c, I ordered the small and it was way to big. I had to have it taken in about an 1.5 inches on each side, the strap shortened, and about 6 inches taken off the bottom. I should have gone with an xsmall. But i had the alterations done and it fit wonderful after that. I had so many comliments on the dress style..all in all Beautiful dress, great price.

I am big boned, 6ft, 250 lb, 17 year old and I bought this dress for my junior prom. I ordered the 3x in Royal Blue. It fit loosely, just some small taking-ins. The length was perfect, and the wrap covered my stomach very well. It was like a dream to put on. The train wasn't too long, and the back of the dress and one-shoulder build made my neck and shoulders look spectacular. I am pairing my accessories with the rhinestone detail, a sort of silver-stone scheme. I absolutely loved it. I got it quick, only 3 days. It may need to get some ironing done. But thank you so much for the wonderful dress. I can't wait to wear it.

I bought this gown for my senior prom, and I love it! I absolutely adore the style of this dress (the one shoulder goddess neckline). My only problem is that I ordered it too big; I'm 5'2", 126 lbs, and my measurements are 34-26-38; and I ordered a medium when I should have ordered a small, however, I'm still extremely satisfied. I took it in for alterations and it is amazing! The fabric is of excellent quality and the color (purple) is exquisite. Let me reiterate: I ordered the dress too big. I had absolutley no problems with this manufacturer; delivery was prompt and in excellent condition.

I have successfully purchased from Pacificplex in the past for my Husband's military formals. Unfortunately, this experience was not as pleasant. The shipment time was great, but the dress itself was cheap and poorly made. The hem was unbalanced, there were pulled threads on the front and the back seam bunched up when I walked (making my rear end look weird). I wouldn't recommend this dress.

I purchased an XS and wore it for my company's Christmas party. It's so beautiful and fir perfectly. I'm super short (5'0) and had to have it taken up because it was so long on me even with heels. It is slightly loose in the chest area but if you have a bra that will fix the problem.

I fell in love with this dress when I saw it on here and had to have it for my hubby's military ball. I had a hard time picking a color but finally decided that gold would look very nice with my husbands Class A's. I recieved the dress in 3 days and did not pay for faster shipping! It was a little wrinkled but ironed out very nicely. I am 5'2, 115 pounds and a small B-cup. I ordered a size small and thought it would probably be too big but it actually fit very true to the measurments. I did have to get the bust taken in and a few inches off the lenght, which I knew I would have to do anyway..I always do! :) I do love this dress and am very pleased with the product for the price, however, I think it may look better on someone who is a little bigger b/c of the detailed side. I am so tiny that I thought it looked a little funny...Like the detail stood out a little too much and took away from the dress...If that makes any sense! I would definatly reccomend this dress to anyone though!

This dress is beautiful but the fit is big on top and smaller on the bottom.
I used the size chart and ordered a Large even if I usually wear a size 6/Medium. The dress sits perfectly on my hips but it's way too big on the bust and the strap is too long.
Also it's a bit too long in the front (im 5'3'') even for high heels but it has a beautiful short train in the back that gives it an extra elegant touch.
I'm having a few alterations done and I'm sure it will look perfect. If in doubt with the size I would look at the size chart, pick the size that would fit the larger part of you and have the rest altered like I did.

I had 2 of my 4 bridesmaids get this dress for my wedding and they both looked stunning. This dress is gorgeous; it fit them perfectly and the bridesmaids I had wearing this dress aren't big by any means, but they aren't "skinny" either. I couldn't have asked for a better dress.
