My boyfriend and I recently bought both Shout about Music Vol 1 & 2. We are HUGE music trivia fans and are one of those couples that no one really likes to play (especally music) trivia with. This was the BEST money for a game I have ever spent. I can't believe how up to date and interesting the game is over all. My favorite part of the game on a whole is how interactive it is, I love that it keeps score, and controls the tempo of the game all on the dvd. Also the different catagories make it really fun, I love how it goes over all aspects of music not just rock or oldies like some other games I have played. The only downfall is once you have played a set of questions you can't really play them again fairly. That is why I can't wait until they release more music games. We will be the first in line to buy all of them. Believe me if it can challenge me and entertain me it's worth all the money I paid and then some!

I was a pretty big fan of Shout About Movies, but this is even better. First of all, there are all these cool songs, and parts of the game are like name that tune. I got the first ever complaint from my neighbors because my friends were shouting too loud and stamping their feet on the ground.

Like Shout About Movies, the DVD player keeps score for you, and there's a host explaining how to play. half the game involves shouting out the answers, and the other half involves music trivia.

There is no other game like this out in stores- trust me, I checked.

Great game with fantastic contact. My family has requested multiple copies for a Thanksgiving game night showdown. It's got great music and trivia and excellent gameplay. The first time we played we went straight through an entire disc and if the store had been open we would have been on the way to get another edition.

I am 11 and this game is so fun for kids who know a lot about music. I love music

This was perfect for a party I had last night. Everyone had a great time playing and everyone joined in on the fun. Everyone was a little tipsy, the perfect way to play a game like this. I've played that Scene It game; this is way more fun and easier to play. The rules for Scene It are hard to follow and the board is cumbersome. This DVD game scores for you!

The game itself is okay, but it's so short and there are only three games. That's $10 per game -- maybe a half hours worth. If there were 20 games, and each section was longer, then it might be worth it. I'd play this game again, but I would never purchase it.

I have a very expensive universal DVD player (plays any format worldwide)and it caused my system to lock up every time I tried to play it. I don't know if this is an isolated case, but use caution if this item comes back into stock and you want to buy it.
