Outside of the Lord Jesus Christ I don't know of any man that has ever walked this earth that never sinned or made a mistake. For that very reason Jesus died to be the propitiation (substitute) for our sins and mistakes. Pat Robertson is a flawed man who sins and makes mistakes everyday. The only difference between him and most of us is that he's very well known and open to criticism by the unsaved or the mentally ascended who just doesn't get it.

Having said all of that; this book thrilled and inspired me in my Christian walk. To see a man with such faith to trust God in an area that he knew nothing about is simply astonishing. Pat expresses the hardship and adversities that he had to go through in fulfilling Gods perfect will in his life. At times they seemed almost unbearable, but Pat being the mighty man of faith that he is was not moved by his circumstances, but by the will and Word of God.

If you are "truly" seeking Gods perfect will in your life; this book is a must read. You will be so blessed by this book. God Bless.

I have read this book several times and find that it always increases my faith. When we think of Pat Robertson today, we think of a very successful man who has raised up a television network that broadcasts all around the world. But this simple little book tells the struggles that brought that miracle about. This is about a man who sold all that he had and gave it to the poor. It's the story of a man who believed and obeyed God and walked as a friend of God. I do like the first half of the book better than the second. The first half is about the beginning of Pat's Christian walk, the story of his salvation and his first steps toward becoming a disciple. The second sectiion relates more about the "business" side of his ministry and his struggles in raising up the Christian Broadcasting Network. But throughout the entire book you read of his complete reliance upon the Lord for guidance and provision. It is truly a book about miracle and what can happen when a man gives himself 100% to God. You can't help but be inspired when you read this book. A simple paperback book can certainly you lot of faith as you find yourself thinking, "If God can do it for Pat Robertson, He can also do it for me."

It is a book that I find hard to put down. I love reading how Pat Robertson started the CBN network from the ground up. It is interesting reading to say the least.
