I am a young Christian and I've never been into Christian music. But once I started listening to this CD, I totally fell in love with it. Its fun, upbeat songs, such as "All things are possible" and "Can't stop talking" always bring a smile to my face when I listen to them. Some of the other songs, such as "The Potter's Hand" (which is the best song on the cd) and "Breathe on me", have beautiful lyrics that glorify Christ. I love to praise the Lord day after day with every single song. I listen to it every day, and I now that I am praising God so often, I feel I'm starting to become closer to Him. Every time I listen to this CD, I can feel the annointing and the presence of the Holy Spirit. I'm sure this awesome cd will touch you profoundly. I really recommend this cd to EVERYONE, trust me, it's worth every cent!

Great for praise and worship. Very uplifting

This album is so exciting that you will sing, dance, laugh and cry to God. The songs are so annointed that'll bring you to His' presence. We even use these songs in our church for the praise and worship that would touch the whole congregation.

Shout to the Lord 2000 kicks out the praise in a style that isn't at all like your 200 year old dirgy old hymns. Yet it as all from the heart and all is to worship God. This CD is my new favorite!! Quite frankly - the only way I ever got pulled in to God's family is because I was introduced to contemporary Christian music. Upset about the lyrics on mainstream music? Listen to this!! It rocks out every bit as much - but with a great message.

The CD starts off fast paced and keeps it up with several really rocking selections, then it goes into some great worship songs of a slower pace. It eventually picks up the beat once more. The music and voices quality are excellent and I really enjoyed listening to the entire CD. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone wanting a worship and praise experience with a great beat and true spirit.

This is the most awesome CD ever produced. Our contemporary service, Trinity United Methodist Church in Sarasota, FL, uses the music every Sunday, with the help of God in worship and in praise. We have 14-16 singers in our praise band and love every song on the CD....my personal favorite is "Shout to the Lord" with "Jesus Is Alive" running a close second. Bless each of the producers of this CD and the looking forward to many, many more songs to share with our service. God Bless!

Shout to the Lord 2000 is another encounter with God. In the long line of music to come from Hillsong music this maintains the excellent standard of musical talent and displays, as always,the annoited and gifted writing style of this ministry team. I have over the years purchased most of Hillsongs releases and have never been diappointed. Things like The Potter's Hand on the latest release are equal and if not better than previous works. I believe that where ever we are in our walk with the Lord He will speak to us and lead us, through the power of the music found on this and indeed in all of Hillsong music.From a great Aussie Fan.

"Explosive praises and heartfelt worship" -- that it how I can sum-up this CD. A great starter for anyone wanting to build a Hillsongs collection, this CD compiles pumped-up old hits with instant new favorites, such as the joyful "Hear Our Praises". The power of God is certainly tangible as you listen to the CD! Darlene Zschech shines as the worship leader and the power of the vast chorus is felt throughout this praise extravaganza.

Noteworthy: This CD is also available in video format. The only thing that could top hearing the celebration that took place in Sydney is witnessing the joy with your own eyes! I highly recommend you buy the video as well as the CD.

This is an absolutely awesome album. The singing is great, but more important you can feel the Spirit on it. It's all about Jesus, and this album really helps keep that in perspective.
