"Shout to the Lord: Platinum Collection" is a two-cd compilation of the very best from one of the most gifted, inspired worship bands in the world today (yes they are that good!). Based at Hillsong Church in Australia, this band, led by tremendously talented singer/songwriter Darlene Zschech. "Shout to the Lord" is the most well-known song from the album, but every song on both cds is amazing!

Each CD starts out with a set of about 4-5 really uplifting, energizing praise and worship songs like: People Just Like Us, He's Real, My Redeemer Lives, Touching Heaven Changing Earth, and God is in the House. (think amazing gospel vocals, dazzling guitar and bass riffs, with a driving beat and a great message of hope).

Interspersed on the CDs are also some more mellow, contemplative ballads, that brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart like: I will Run to You, Jesus, What a Beautiful Name, and Potter's Hand, among others. They are rich with beautiful harmonies, singable melodies and amazing but not overdone instrumentation. There are many songs on these two discs that are great for use with a congregation or group, particularly the more meditative songs like "Jesus What a Beautiful Name" or "I will Run to You."

This collection is powerfully moving, not to mention GREAT music, by amazing musicians. God is definitely "in the house" (quoting song of same title on the CD) on this one! Definitely check it out! You will be forever changed and uplifted!

This certainly is a moving album, having you hopping around your house, jumping, dancing, and praising the Lord! (And I don't even attend a church like that!) I scratched up my first disc so I'm looking into buying this CD again, but it's so hard to find! It's a shame that it's hard to find because this CD is certainly a classic. This is Darlene Zschech and Hillsongs' best album with all of their best songs. This live album makes you feel as if you're really in a worship arena. I prefer the first disc, but both CDs are a great blessing. A must for anyone who loves praise and worship music.

This is my favorite worship album-- ever!!! It has the most powerful songs and you can tell that the people at these services are just praising the Lord in full. Some of my favorite songs are People Just Like Us, (He's Real) All the Power You Need, I Will Run to You, Eagle's Wings, The Great Southland, All Things Are Possible, The Potter's Hand, Shout to the Lord, Hear Our Praises, You Said and This is What We Came Here For. Hillsong Music Australia blends some of the best tastes in music on this one album. It has 32 amazing, powerful and beutiful songs on it.
You can feel the energy and the presence of the Lord, Jesus Christ on this project. The lyrics on it are so true and listening to the songs make you want to jump up and praise God. My final thought is that this is a great album and if you enjoy up-beat and worshipful music this is for you. From the writer of Shout to the Lord, it's simply the best.

This album will remain in my CD collection. The songs are scriptural, exhibit joy , timeless and offer praise for the Lord Jesus Christ. This is one of my favorite albums. I recently distributed 9 of these CD to my closet Christian friends so they can enjoy the praise.This album has been a delight and brought inspiration during some difficult and trying times in my life.

The worship that comes from this wonderful group of people will not allow you to just sit and listen - you'll find yourself entering in to an awesome time of praise and worship that will change your life forever as you spend time in the presence of Jesus! The love these folks have for the Lord will permeate your life too - and I can't say it enough -- you'll never be the same again. I pray you will take the opportunity to purchase this CD and enjoy the best of the last 10 years of this powerful ministry.

The Platinum Collection is truly a blessed worship experience. The songs are all the best of the Hillsong Worship! This is the CD to take on a long trip. The way the songs are listed & played out flow really well. A must have in your Christian music library.

This is one of the most prize spiritual CD sets in my library. The songs are so anointed, it's easy to get caught up in the moment and very emotional. I really wanted to be there! This is I why was looking for the video of the same concert.

I highly recommend it. Definitely add this to your audio library before it's gone and can't get it.

I'm dead serious when I say I wish they had a video of the same concert, "Shout to the Lord". If anyone knows if such a thing does exist, please let me know. David

This album will lift your soul up to heights you could never imagine. The music is so awesome, you will feel like you are riding on the wings of the" Golden Eagle, or the Poenix!!" I have been always blessed to have God take the place of my real dad who left my mom ,sister and me on the streets when I was little. As a result I have always rode on the wings of the Golden Eagle(Poenix) when in times of distress or danger. Now that I have matured, God will not let me go back to sit on the lap of Jesus because I told him that I want to meet the one (EVE) woman he has made for me and he has done this already. Her first name is Alex and I met her on Palm Sunday and it felt like I was hugging myself and Jesus too. I also had my generational curses broken that day and now I can DANCE!!!!!! God is so awesome and I loved the fact that she wanted to be friends first and when she is ready someday......... I wouldn't hesitate to ask her to marry me! I know in my heart that she is the one! I met her by first praying to God to send me the one woman he has planned for me that is God fearing; otherwise I just wanted to be alone because I am tired of doing everyday activities alone. Then God showed me in a dream a beautiful woman all in pure white spirit form with pretty brown eyes and beautiful black hair( I am color blind). I was ready to give up on match.com but then she appeared like an angel coming out from Heaven. I haven't seen her since our first meeting because I didn't know how to tell her on the first date that I was in trouble as my job had found out that I had a God given gift and they put me into trailers with haz mat inhalation spills, which would kill me. They knew and tried to get rid of me because I only spoke the truth because that is how God taught me. Alex also knew from the first date that I had a God given gift and that I was in trouble. I hope and pray that she contacts me someday soon, so we can begin our journey together as friends and growing together like two bright stars shooting across the twilight of the sky! Darren H.

Have you ever been known to have a theme in your life? I am talking about a foundation that is so strong that even when it is shaken a bit you still never totally fall. I can play "Shout To The Lord" anywhere and anytime and it will lift me up. Remember during our darkest hours any praise and worship to God is acceptable. Music that uplifts you and giving glory to God is good for your soul. I hear influences from country, R&B and traces of old Negro spiritual flavor in this CD. It also offers quiet reflection to bring you to God. You will shout, dance, and praise the Lord. This CD is a classic.
