I knew these guys prior to High Noon and I was with them at the start. To me, this will always be the finest release they have done. I know every song by heart and this is true rockabilly pure and simple. Bare bones like the Blue Moon Boys with git-tars, slap bass, and no drums. Great song writing, awesome musicianship, these guys are the real deal. It would be a toss up between High Noon and the Paladins on which band I have seen live more times. You can not miss with this one, and High Noon along with Big Sandy and Dave and Deke were the sound of rockabilly in the 90's. Hell, they even played with the late great Ronnie Dawson as his backing band and if Ronnie loved `em that should be enuff for the rest of us kats!

These guys are rockabilly purists: Slap bass, acoustic rhythm, electric guitar. Kevin Smith is arguable one of the best slap bassists out there. A good time had by all, and they put on great live shows.
