2.0 out of 5 stars NOT for techies, April 27, 2010
This review is from: ShowMe Guides Managing an Online Business with Open Source Commerce Programs: For osCommerce, CRE Loaded, Zen Cart, osCMAX, Magento, Cube Cart & CartXpress (Paperback)
Upon seeing the entire secondary title of the book when I unboxed it, I returned it to Amazon. "For NON-TECHNICAL Managers and Administrators" didn't show up in the listing and I was specifically looking for a techie book. I already have _Zen Cart: Building an Online Store the Zen Way_ by Kerry Watson; Matthew Therrien, which I love, and hoped this was the sequel. It isn't. It appears to be a dumbed-down version (for those poor, bedraggled souls, Managers. ;) I ended up getting _e-Start Your Web Store with Zen Cart_ by Goh Koon Hoek, and it appears to be more in-depth than Kerry's original. I just wish that the two Amazon Marketplace vendors hadn't doubled the price of Hoek's book. I had to buy it elsewhere, paying retail.
