5.0 out of 5 stars Almost a Greatest Hits Album All By Itself,
By A Customer
This review is from: Showcase (Audio CD)This was the album that served as Patsy Cline's "comeback" and brought her stardom. "I Fall to Pieces", "Crazy", and a (then) new version of "Walkin' After Midnight". This is a portrait of an artist truly coming into her own. It's all the more tragic that it came such a short time before her death. I really do wonder what a Patsy Cline record of the 1970s, 80s, or 90s would have sounded like.
Buy it. You will not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars South of The Border,
This review is from: Showcase (Audio CD)Of all the millions of records that Patsy made during her tragically few thirty years, this is one of only three to be published during her lifetime. I'd have to say that it is my favorite as well. South of the Border is such a wonderful song. I sometimes pull this CD out of my shelf, just to listen to South of the Border. I submitted this song on tape with the sheet music to my high school's Latino Band, that plays spanish songs. If you could have only one Patsy Cline album, I'd chose this one. Buy it at once.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Ever!,
This review is from: Showcase (Audio CD)I have been listening to this album since I was a kid, and Patsy was still alive. My aunt had a vinyl copy that she loved, and my cousins and I would play it as loud as we could while we cleaned house and did dishes.
These versions are her best recordings of these songs, because you will find other versions on other albums. The backups by the Jordanaires (they backed up Elvis several times, too) keep this so smooth...
I have bought this album in every new format over the years; my own vinyl, then eight track (REALLY!), casette, at least two CD copies and soon in MP3.
If you want Patsy, this is the place to start.
5.0 out of 5 stars Patsy Cline CD,
This review is from: Showcase (Audio CD)What can you say about a Country icon like Patsy Cline? Absolutely wonderful and the music was superb. A most treasured CD that has been transferred to reel to reel as well.

She has a song called CRAZY, writen by Willie Nelson, and you know he is a great artist. Try it and you will like it also. Irecommend this album. Jim in Ohio.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabuloso,
Pequeñas joyas como Foolin' 'Round, The Wayward Wind, South Of The Border (Down Mexico Way) o Walkin' After Midnight, sin olvidar A Poor Man's Roses (otro single).
Este disco es muy recomendable para todos los que les gusta el pop con mayusculas (trasciende el country), un disco que siempre debería estar presente entre los mejores de todas las épocas, una delicia.
