The dumbest comics I've ever read,
By Alaska Wolf Joe (Mahagonny) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Showcase Presents: Wonder Woman Vol. 3 (Paperback)
I was a Silver Age boy, and I've bought lots of the black-and-white Marvel and DC reprints to read again or discover for the first time. I rarely read Wonder Woman growing up. These stories are the dumbest I've ever read. Not juvenile, but stupid! They mainly involve the adventures of the Wonder Woman family, in which Wonder Woman has adventures with her mother, and a teenaged Wonder Girl, and a toddler named Wonder Tot. And the adventures involved competing in contests, getting magic dreams, etc. Can you imagine a Superman comic where Superman joins Jor-el, Superboy and Superbaby, competing in contests, issue after issue? Horrible.
