I don't think these guys are extremely original, they do hardcore. They do it well.

Cliche, but done with style.

2.0 out of 5 stars Yuck, August 10, 2005
This review is from: Showdown (Audio CD)
Review by Tyler Wagnon:

Denmark's Barcode sounds like a hardcore band with James Hetfield on vocals. It's almost humorous how hard these guys are trying to sound American. They just seem like they are intentionally doing cliché after cliché because they think that's what they should do.

Anyway, the music has a NYHC base to it, but they add a few subtle metal elements. All the songs sound the same pretty much. In fact, after a few minutes of listening I checked to see what song I was on and it said 4. I wasn't even aware that track 1 had ended. So that might give you an idea how monotonous this album is. Yuck.
