Wrong book for me,

This review is from: Showmanship for Presenters : 49 Proven Training Techniques from Professional Performers (Paperback)
I was disappointed in this book. Maybe it's my fault and not the author's. I was expecting a book on outstanding activities for learners. Instead the book is geared for trainers (and actors) about how to get into the role, deliver the activity, and connect with the audience. It had more to do with the world of acting than the training world. Each of the 49 techniques are written in little detail. To me it was mostly common sense, but maybe for a brand new trainer it would be useful.
I think his book, Tricks for Trainers, may be more useful for me. But I haven't read that.

Excellent book with useful tips for presenters. Lots of real tactics to enable connection with an audience. I am a trainer and read all of Dave's book and recommend them all to triners.
