We ordered two of these beds for our black labs, for use in the bedroom. We have two other beds from this company, the flat memory foam, in another area of the house, and the dogs are always on them. However, they have recently decided they want to sleep in our bedroom. I am not up for lugging giant dog beds back and forth across the house every day. I thought it would be a good idea to order something with a different stuffing, and therefore a different texture. This bed fit the bill!
Our dogs are sisters, both 8 years old. They're not spring chickens! Both have suffered from cruciate ligament tears in their hind legs. One had surgery about two years ago, and while she has healed nicely, the procedure caused some arthritis. Our other pooch will be having the surgery in the near future. When they lay on the hardwood or carpeted floor, they get up in obvious pain, and it takes a while for them to stretch out. (This is also the case when they lay on other dog beds we've purchased in the past.) With the memory foam beds, they wake up, stretch once, and take off! It is clear that these beds are fantastic, and are comfortable for both dogs. TO top it off, they are easy to clean, and do not harbor "grossness", as the inner cover is waterproof/water-resistant. They can lick the beds, lay on them when dirty, and all it takes is a quick washing of the external cover, and a fast wipe down of the internal cover. The foam stays fresh and clean! I HIGHLY recommend this bed!
A quick note: this bed is bulky and quite high at first. It also crinkled a bit. Our girls were a little hesitant to step onto it at first, but with a little encouragement, they jumped up. Don't let the bed's initial state put you off.

We have 3 dogs and they love these dog beds, never hesitated when we set them out. We were in need of some new beds and we were wanting something that had a washable cover and that was water resisitant. These were the best value we could find for our wants. I like the construction. They seem very durable so far. I liked that the company provided an extra cover for no added cost when we bought two (at least this was the case when we bought these). The extra cover has already came in very handy as we could wash one and the bed still be put to use. To be honest our older dog will urinate in his sleep once in a great while. This bed is perfect for him. The only drawback is that there are not color options. The color is not bad but we keep one of the beds in the family room and just doesnt quite go with the decor, but a minor detail really. I think it will be a long time until these beds wear out, but if they do I will buy from this company again.
I recieved this product and although the style is cute, the quality is not acceptable. The stitching was already unraveling when I unpacked the item, and the zipper busted within a few days of minimal use. I had to pay return shipping, so it definately was not a bargin. I do not recommend this prodcut

Nice construction.
My dogs have yet to use them but I love how the foam pads look and feel. Plus points that the cover is denim and washable - a must for my two powerful chewers.
