My seven-year-old is an excellent reader, but he doesn't love it the way I dreamed he would. He'll curl up and let me read a "good" book to him, but he's highly unlikely to sit himself down with anything but a video game manual. Even then, he'll get to what he needs to know, and the manual is over for him.He tore into this book and had most of the jokes memorized by the next day. And, as told by a shortie with not too many teeth, the jokes are pretty funny. |
