A Frustrating Game....,
By A Customer
This review is from: Shrek: Hassle at the Castle (Video Game)
This game starts out just fine, it's actually a little easy on the first two levels. Two things to mention.... The information booklet that comes with this game neglects to mention how to activate/use the fairy dust. It only explains what the fairy dust does. After many frustrating attempts at trying to use the fairy dust icon to complete level two, I finally called product support. The help desk told me the intructions for this feature were not included in the game info booklet. Secondly, I was informed that level three was difficult to clear, and he (the product support guy) changed the game difficulty to 'easy' to get past it. I STILL haven't gotten past it! I purchased this game for my nine year old. Now I know why she has lost interest in the game. It is too frustrating and time consuming to get past certain levels. The rest of the game may be a lot of fun, like the beginning. However, it will take a lot of patience to find out. (And THAT's not something a lot of kids (or me!) has!)

Hard and Boring,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Shrek: Hassle at the Castle (Video Game)
Oh my gosh, this game is awful!! The first couple of levels are okay but after that the game is almost impossible, unless I'm missing something, this game is not very well explained, there seems to be no way at all to get past Level 3-1, ugh, I haven't even picked this game up in a couple months for fear of becoming extremely frustrated again. Not only that but the character controls are very slow and frustrating. The only good part are the graphics. Don't buy this!!

My 8 year old daughter received this game for Christmas, but I can't stop playing it! It's challenging but manageable. It really is a lot of fun for children and adults alike.
