Let me begin by saying description of this game being only 1 and 2 player is wrong. I have played this game with 4 of my friends, and the multiplayer modes are a lot of fun (Knight's Tournament, and Parfait Getaway more so than Race). It is ashame that the single player mode was not as good. However, there are some interesting levels. If I were younger, I probably would have enjoyed this game a bit more.

Simply awful: lousy graphics, sound and gameplay. Imitates Mario Kart (same game strucutre) and does it badly. Do not buy play or look at.

This game if not very a very good single player. The graphics are somewhat like Mario Cart Super Circuit but just do not seem as good. The tracks seem intersting and maybe if the person buying it was younger(6-10 years old) and liked Shrek more... maybe they would enjoy this game more than the older gamers (11-14 years old... Its price is reasonable but it the racers are tiny and are sometimes difficult to see without squinting. This toy is not very educational because all it shows you is how to handle a GBA... Also ALL GBA Games are durable (they do not break as easy) so that is why i gave it 5 StArs-*~ Overall I did not really like this game but it is your own choice. It basically depends on the audience.

The second that I saw this game, I said "This can't be good." I tried a demo version of it and it [was bad]. An easy way to explain this game is a bad Mario Kart with ugly racers (sorry Shrek) and badly designed courses. I'm begging, can they please make a GOOD Shrek game! It was such a great movie, but all the games are so bad. It just doesn't make sense! So, stay away from ALL Shrek games, but get the DVD or VHS because it is a great movie.

...This game has awesome graphics and is so much fun being your favorite Shrek charactor. You have to buy this game.

Anything that is even remotley connected to the word Shrek (particularly the movie) is loathsome on sheer principle. Add to this fact the track record of previous Shrek video games ("Shrek" for xbox and "Shrek: Fairytale freakdown" for Gameboy Color, both considered some of the worst games spawned for their respective systems,) also, throwing into the mix the high propensity for atrocious "Kart" racing games; one now has the recipe for what is quite possibly one of the worst video games ever made. Or maybe it will just be mediocre, which is probably worse.
