Just so you know, I'm an adult gamer...

The graphics for this game was just like the movie. The movements of the characters were cute, realistic & pretty good to control. There is a combination of stylus usage and the buttons. This makes the game little tricky. The buttons are used to move the characters, fight, jump etc. The stylus is used to select characters or whether you want the characters to go together or alone. So you're constantly going back and forth with the buttons and the stylus.

I rather enjoyed the game. After awhile I admit I got stuck around the third level and couldn't go further. I couldn't figure out where we were supposed to go to next.

I don't have much patience once I'm stuck. I'm sure you can figure it out better than I. I think this game was worth buying though.

Great for young Shrek fans.

Its ok i guess in some parts but it definenately not a game i like. Its short simple and not that entertaining. I beat it in a week. I know some people who like it but personaly i think it is a waste of money.

As an adult who regularly games, I bought Shrek the Third for my ds, thinking this would be entertaining enough to deal with my spouts of cabin fever. Well, it started out ok, graphics are nicely done (almost just like the movie itself), and it does make use of both ds screens occasionally. Donkey does the narration his way, and it's a little hard to follow, as reading the words is a bit hard to do while listening to him ramble on. As for the gameplay, it was tricky, to say the least. All three characters (Shrek, Puss-n-Boots, and Prince Charming), have different specialties, so you constantly have to switch back and forth to do different things. Controlling the characters is tricky as well, you have to use both the buttons and the stylus to do the special moves. To top it off, there are alot of areas that you have to have all three of them standing in front of a statue to open the next area. You can link them at times, but more often than not, you'll need them to do different paths to open all the gates and things in order to finish the level.
I think this game would be better for teens, or maybe even younger. If they like Shrek, it would be worth it, if they have the patience!

The game did not want to start. I had to take it in and out about 10 times before it would play.

I really like this shrek game it's ton's of fun and relates to the movie really well awesome shrek game! Get this shrek game you'll really enjoy it! I know I do.
